Ladies and Gentlemen, the search for the King of all Geekdom has been found.

YES!

:dubious:

I feel so much better about my Lego Millenium Falcon.

My co-worker thinks he shaved his head so he could look more like Patrick Stewart.

good job he wasn’'t a janeway fan.

DO… you think he TALKS… like THIS?

This IS my… mom’s BASMENT. I DECORATED… it… myself.

Has anyone noticed that the place is up for sale on eBay? (I think that’s a new image he posted – if the link doesn’t work, go to eBay’s home page and search for “Star Trek apartment”.)

Asking price: $2 million. Yow.

So, if it sells… he’ll still be a geek.

A rich geek, sure…

Something you want to share with us, Tuckerfan?

Well, I look for the positive in (most) everything. I thought:

  1. he sure knows his Macromedia Flash
  2. I wonder if he gets his damage deposit back?

Then I read further that it was Moms basement, pondered a moment, and thought #2 should still stand.

I’m still beating my wife, if that’s what you mean.

My point is that it is a lot of fun to point and laugh, but how many of us would do it if we thought that he was a Doper? Presumably, you’ve read SPOOFE’s toothpaste post, which is riotiously funny, but AFAIK, there’s not a pile-on thread laughing about it. Were it anybody but a Doper, there’d be threads galore about some schmuck who decided to use toothpaste under those circumstances. It being a Doper who posted that comment, the laughing is pretty restrained.

That being said, it is pretty funny that this guy did it.

Actually, that thought has crossed my mind many a time on this board. I mean, sure we laughed at JDT, but we knew he posted here, so that’s not the same thing. It’s when people crop up for discussion that it’s popular to hate that I try to take a backseat just for the reason you mentioned. Slamming the Olsen Twins as “gibbon-faced” imps, trolls, what have you, is quite common on this board, but I’ve passed on the fun so far. They’re getting cuter all the time, and I want to be on their good side should they ever start lurking…y’know, just in case. :dubious:

I know a woman who, if invited into that Star Trek abode, would drop to her knees and give him 20!

I’ll be emailing her that URL…
