ladies: eew or ooh?

I wear Birkenstocks exclusively except when it’s snowing. I have huge patches of elephant skin on the tops of my feet from sitting on them against the upholstery of my desk chair. I try to keep my toenails trimmed when they start snagging on the bedsheets. I put on polish once every few years.

Who is lusting after me now?

I’m another one who’d be thunderstruck if anyone were to profess an attraction to my feet.

My cousin and I have, in fact, decided that I have “Spammy feet”. (Actually, I came up with it, but he liked it, so I’ll give him some credit.). They are pinkish, utterly flat, and rectangular. They have zero muscle tone. They could, I believe, very well be mistaken for two loaves of Spam attached to my ankles.

Not the feet dreams are made of.

The foot as a fetish is a ticklish subject, no?
Beautiful feet are okay with me (male) but I would tend to think of them as mostly pedestrian.
Hopefully they are not dirty or stinky. Long, green, curly nails are a turnoff. :eek
I believe I would be reticent to put someone else’s feet in my mouth.
I dunno. [/slight hijack]

I only put people’s feet in my mouth if they’re fresh from a shower/bath. Then it’s no big deal.

To blandly answer the OP,

I would find it very understandably, and kind of refreshingly original, if a guy could see the beauty of feet. I like feet and hands myself, because they are so individual and expressive and sensitive. And visible!
I like to manicure and massage hands and feet, of friends and relatives because it’s so intimate, without getting sexual.
And people are usually so grateful.

I agree with capybara and tmwster about the fetish thing, though. And about the lovely opportunities for foot-rubs, too!

In my 20+ years in the field of health care I can say that I have seen some feet that would literally make you want to run screaming from the room.

I have taken care of many diabetic feet with deep wounds and ulcers and toes needing to be amputated. Now I realize that a lot of those problems are a result of poor circulation and it is not the person’s fault if a wound develops. It’s the people with perfectly good feet who never wash them, trim the nails or apply lotion that annoy me.

As a result I tend to be a bit of a foot care snob. I notice if the toenails are long and jagged, the callouses that are thick and cracking and the stinking cracking peeling gunk between the toes. I more annoyed than need be by toenail polish that has nearly grown off but not removed or changed.

Because I may spend 16 hours a day on my feet running the halls, I have to take care of my feet. One ingrown toenail or blister can make a 16 hour day seem like 60. I wash and dry my feet thoroughly every day and wear proper fitting shoes. I refuse to wear shoes that rub blisters or callouses. I go barefoot whenever possible but I will wear a pair of high heeled sandals on occasion.

My size 7 1/2 EE feet may not be dainty but they are clean, callous free and pedicured. I have no bunions or ingrown toenails and I think it is all due to the fact that I take care of them. I always wear one little gold toe ring and often a gold anklet.

People please take care of your feet.
