Ladies: What's the deal with UPS men?

My wife told me yesterday she and the other women where she works all have this “thing” for UPS men. How sexy they look, how manly, etc.

What’s the deal? Is this true or is my wife just giving me a hard time?

I personally think the UPS monkeysuit is rather goofy looking.

Brown short pants? Sexy? Really?

I thought it was because they always bring the ladies “presents”, as in, “I’m so happy to see you because you finally brought that blouse I ordered from Spiegel.”

It is odd, isn’t it? I mean, brown shorts and shirts aren’t really what you’d consider the height of fashion.

But generally because they must lift packages, they tend to be in relatively decent shape. And yes, they’re always “bringing us something”.

We’re a fickle lot. Buy us a bauble and we’ll melt over you.

Huh, and you think UPS women aren’t droolworthy?

Mmm, yes I will sign for it, and then may I unwrap your package?

Two words: “big packages.”

There seem to be quite a few good-looking guys working for UPS. All the bending and fetching keeps them in good shape. I think the brown uniform is just an association thing.

Eh, it must be women who have a “thing” for uniforms in general. I don’t find the UPS guys very fetching…but I’m more attracted to the business casual look than uniforms, to begin with

The guy at the UPS office near me is so incredibly handsome that he should be modelling. Rugged, salt and pepper hair, simple smile, intelligent eyes.

The ladies who visit me and deliver boxes unto me are fun, amusing and buff. Me, I gotta get some brown fabric.

I never see my UPS folks - they leave my stuff on the porch when I’m at work. And our mail room receives all stuff at work. The only guys I get to look at in the office are engineers. Only one is buff, and he’s way too young for me, plus he’s an electrical engineer - I have my standards!!

I used to work at a clothing store in Boston where one of the regular UPS guys made the rounds of all nearby stores, servicing willing shopgirls in the back of his UPS truck. Goooo Brown!! Wait, that sounds particularly nasty here.

I like the brown UPS socks, myself.

Seems to be a mixed thing at work–some of the UPS guys are drooled over, some are roundly mocked (especially the tall dopy looking guy who tries to dress–as much as it’s possible in UPS uniform–and act like Vin Diesel).

Yes, UPS guys are generally sexy. Not only are they in good shape and bring us packages, but they never hang around long enough to get annoying.

Dashing guy dashes in, says hi and smiles at us, gives us a present, asks us to spell our last name, and then dashes away, leaving us with only a glimpse of his well-toned calf. If only we could substitute something a little more erotic for “asks us to spell our last name,” then they would be perfect.

How about, " Gosh, that stew smells scrumptious, have you gone and added nutmeg? I could swear I smell nutmeg !".

Hey, now!
