You Oz girls probably already know what this thread is about.
For all the rest of us, girls, you must start watching this game. You have never seen a more appetizing collection of male eye candy anywhere. The guys that play this game have the most gorgeous builds you can think of, and they play in little shorts and tank tops. No, they’re not the big gorilla-like rugby or American football players; they’re lean, mean and muscly. A high proportion of them are inexplicably handsome, too – quite a feat considering that they wear no visible protective gear in a ferociously physical sport. It’s sort of like a mud wrestling show for women viewers.
I remember being in Europe with my family. My father was watching ESPN and Aussie Rules Football came on. I think my mouth was left hanging open for about 15 seconds before I realized my parents were in the room (I don’t think they noticed though). Superlative.
Oh my… Finally, a fast-moving sport with hot guys who aren’t encased in padding! I love my hockey, but all that gear hides the physique, knowwh’I’msayin’?
Mmm!
I don’t really understand AFL much either, as it’s not played much in my home state, so rather than try to explain it, I’ll direct you to this recend thread which may or may not enlighten you.
There is no way you can compare the Aussie Rule guys to the Irish hurlers. Aussie Rule guys have much fitter bodies and are a lot better looking - maybe you should take a closer look next time
No it’s not really a case of that - I would much prefer an Irish man anyday but when it comes down to fitter bodies the Aussie guys win that one. You just don’t see the same muscle definition on those hurlers
but Rowing? Sweet Lord Yes!
Some of the finest male bodies I’ve ever had the privilege of seeing were sitting in a racing shell. Rowing is an “all body” sport, so these boys were fit from head to toe. I used to be the Bowman on our mixed team in college. From that 1st seat you can see the backs of the rest of the crew. On hot days when some of the guys were shirtless and leaning into the catch with their back muscles rippling…wow. Absolutely stunning.
