What’s the name of the song & artist used in a current Lancer car commercial in which 4 guys are driving through a tunnel singing and two girls are driving in their car, also singing?
thanks.

And where can I get a copy…?
“One week” by the Bare Naked Ladies. Buy it anywhere in America.
Phlip – thanks a million!
niwroc–I’m with you. The song was unfamiliar to me just because it doesn’t quite fit the format of the radio stations I listen to. (It’s still a catchy song.)
I hesitated to ask the question because I had a feeling MOST people knew the artist/title of the song. Heck, it was probably a top 40 song, but I had literally never heard it before the Lancer commercial.
If you need the lyrics, nineiron, not that, ahem, you can’t understand them:

Damn, I love this commercial and the earlier ones in the same ad campaign. Girls with long necks like swans. Yum. Where can I get one?
Next question (which makes it obvious that I don’t listen to Bare Naked Ladies ordinarially):
Is the commercial song fairly close to the Bare Naked Lady version, or has it been mutated? Because if that’s the BNL sound I’ll go out and try the CD, but if it’s not then I won’t bother
You can go to Amazon.com & hear a sample of “One Week.” Sounds like the commercial to me.
Yes, its close to the BNL version, although I think its been edited for brevity. The one difference is that in the commercial you can actually hear the actors singing over the band. Mercifully, this isn’t in the original.
Well, yeah, if I had a sound card in my computer I could.
