I have a verizon wireless card that I use on my laptop that I no longer really need because I can thether my blackberry to my laptop when I need to use the internet. Is thier a cheap way to hook this card up to my home PC so that I could have wireless cell phone internet at home?
Probably not. At least not cheaper than buying a dedicated device. For example, here’s a $10.00 (after rebate) USB WiFi adapter. (http://dealnews.com/deals/Zonet-802-11-g-Wireless-USB-2-0-Adapter-for-9-99-after-rebate/130067.html)
I think you want something like this:

$24.99
The verizon card isn’t wifi…well not 802.11 anyway. It is a long range setup via the cell phone network. Bandwidth better than dialup, but not really broadband.
It’s also not cheap. Might be justified for a truely mobil setup, but most places have cheaper (and faster) alternatives for home use…but maybe OP is locked into an agreement.
