Sorry for all the morbid threads lately. I just read an article about casino gaming in Las Vegas and they used the phrase “they burried a lot of their problems in shallow graves in the desert”.
Is there any idea of how many people were murdered and burried in the desert?
Also, do any of these bodies “turn-up” every once and a while from hikers or new housing or casino developments?

As a teen I lived in the Anelope Valley, which is basically the extreme western edge of the Mojave Desert. It seems bodies were always turning up in the aquaduct. It got to be a bit of a joke. “Hey, why don’t you meet me up at the aquaduct? Yeah, there’s… something I want to show you there. Yehah, that’s it. Just wanna show you something…”
A few years ago they found a person who had driven his/her truck into the aquaduct, apparently accidentally. It lay under water for a very long time, and there were only skeltal remains. Funny thing… I had a glass of water a while before the wreck was found. I thought, “Hey! This water tastes like thigh!”
