Laser Eraser and Pressbutton Help?

Back in the mid 80’s there was a British comic about a character named Axel Pressbutton. It was reprinted in North America as Laser Eraser and Pressbutton. There was a background character who was an alien, looked like an (American) football with stubby legs, who had put out a contract on every other member of his species so he could, asexually, populate the whole of the galaxy. I seem to recall him liking legs. I cannot find my copies of the comics, and I cannot find his name.

Please help.

All I can offhand remember about him is that he tended to sweat a lot.

I remember those comics with some fondness. Alas for the collector, I don’t have 'em any longer. So it goes!
