I stumbled over this just a few days ago and love it. Axe Cop is the story of the most hard-ass cop in human history, illustrated by comic artist Ethan Nicolle… and written by his 5-year old brother. It’s well drawn, surrealistic and hilarious. Here’s a link to the first episode:
Some thoughtful stuff in Ask Axe Cop. I for one am an instant fan. Five year olds rule when it comes to good old fashioned entertaining story values.
Holy crap, appearance-wise, that’s like Jack Chick on psilocybin. Some great stuff, though. I’m not sure who’s my favorite character so far: Uni-baby, Sockarang, or the Evil Flying Book.
Another instant fan here.
Is it just me, or does Axe Cop look a lot like up Bert Gummer after a huge coffee binge?
Man, it’s like if Dr. McNinja was a Cop. With an Axe.
I’ve already helped spread the gospel of Axe Cop here, but I don’t mind it being spread more- Axe Cop is awesome and needs to be as known by as many people as possible.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I just remembered Psydrozon is outside.
That is possibly the dumbest webcomic I’ve ever read.
I like it.
:: adds it to comics list ::
And that is why it’s brilliant.
Indeed, kudos to Malachai.
A bump to remind people to read not just the main storylines but the “Ask Axe Cop” sidelines as well. Otherwise you might miss possibly the most awesome picture ever drawn: A flying Tyrannosaurus with gatling-gun forearms
Also, yet another sig-line worthy quote (episode 8): “They were greeted by an angry mob of aliens ready for war”.
