Like something out of a James Bond film, it’s a watch – equipped with a laser. Its inventor, Patrick Priebe, built it during downtime from his full-time gig creating props and modestly describes it as a “tiny watch made of garbage.”

I wonder if I can have a LASER installed in my GMT II?

Much like Spiderman’s webshooters, I’d recommend he wear it below instead of above his wrist.

Popping ballons and lighting matches is pretty easy. I’m a little surprised he can burn a hole in a CD case, but that’s not a really big deal. If you want to cut through hands or, like Sean Connery in Never Say Never Again or Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye, something more substantial, you’ll need a good colling unit, or your watch will get so hot it’ll burn you.
