Thank you, andygirl, for reminding me of my mantra: trust Joss. Whenever something’s happened on the show my fellow Buffsters complained about, I recite my mantra to them, and so far, Joss hasn’t let us down. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on this Tara thing too.
The very next day after “Hush” first aired, I came to work, turned to my coworker and fellow Buffster Gretchen, and said “we met Willow’s new love interest last night.”
Normally I’m not very perceptive, so I’m especially proud of my insight in this case.
I’m a recent convert to the show. I only started watching last season because a friend asked me to tape it for her. I was hooked by Hush I have since shown Hush to some other friends and now they’re as rapid as any fan out there. I’m spreading the word, my brothers and sisters
Anyway, I have seen Dopplegangland (I thougt that “kinda gay” comment was great foreshadowing), but not much else from the early season. Can remember what some of the other hints were?
I don’t think Willow was in closet. If the other characters hadn’t been pre-occupied they would have picked up on the handholds and longing glances. Willow was exactly being secretive about it.
As for this past ep. Yeah, it was a bit of a let-down, but only because I was really, really curious about wht kinda of demon Tara would be. I have hope that Joss will do something with storyline (hopefully give Tara more of a backbone)
