So, are you Max Planck, then? (Planck’s constant = h)
I am indeed Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck, for whom the h familiar to millions of physics students was named. I apologise for misjudging the twist.
Congratulations, Prof. Pepperwinkle!
Thanks. If Enginerd had been playing this round, I’m sure he’d have figured it out sooner.
Congrats, Prof. Pepperwinkle!
Thanks again. I’ll start the August thread tomorrow.
Not bloody likely. Well done!
Yes, indeed.
Using a CONCEPT that is NOT part of his name was against the rules! You should have told us the letter was “M” or “P”! Just a note in the event you ever win another round.
Again, you claim you looked over past games, and you failed to notice that when we give a letter at the beginning of a round it is without fail, either a first or last initial. You not noticing this tells me 1 of 2 things: 1. You LIED about reading previous threads. 2. You don’t care about the rules of Botticelli. In either case, I strongly suggest you start following our rules, or not play.
I’ve explained my decision making process. I thought that taking a liberty with the connection so that I had an obvious person with an inductive leap needed to get to his identity would be fun and within the spirit of the game. Evidently you disagree. Rest assured that if I ever regain the chooser’s chair, I will follow the rule as stated on wikipedia that the letter is the initial of the name by which the person is most commonly known.
  That’s all we ask.
