The answer is “yes”, but it is conditional on the random celebrity having a modern art masterpiece, and the random person having the tendency to steal. Randomly it is unlikely those conditions would both be met, but not impossible. The situation with Richie and Marilyn Monroe could happen with another person and another celebrity, but it is highly improbable.

OK. I’m working on who Richard was. He wasn’t the photographer Avedon. The next Richard I can think of is Widmark, who apparently hated working with her on Don’t Bother to Knock (a film for which she got pretty good reviews after stepping out of her sex kitten stereotype).
