Lateral Thinking Puzzles. Let's do it again!

But anyway, let’s have a puzzle

He wanders the world, forever cut off from his own kind. Why?

He won’t stop and ask for directions.

Is “he” a weather phenomenon that’s been given a male name?

Is “he” human?
Does he wander on foot?
Does his own kind still exist?
Does “world” mean Earth?
Is he impaired in one or more of his senses?

Is he a whale?

He won’t stop and ask for directions lol, actually YES!

Is “he” a weather phenomenon that’s been given a male name?NO

Is “he” human?NO
Does he wander on foot?NO
Does his own kind still exist?YES
Does “world” mean Earth?YES
Is he impaired in one or more of his senses?YES
Is he a whale?YES

I’m thinking at this point that someone probably knows exactly what I’m talking about … feel free to post it if you do - if you’re just randomly very close, I’ll let people keep guessing

I remembered hearing a story about a whale that did his song in a different key than all the others of his species, and thus couldn’t communicate with them.

For some reason that came right to mind when I read your puzzle.

That is a sad story.

You are quite right, that what was I was thinking of.

The 52Hz whale

A slightly more optimistic take on the story

**Piano
A fleet of Good Humor ice cream trucks
Robot’s hand
Silver bars
Giraffe
Dining room table

What do these all have have in common?**

Is it something to do with the physical properties of the objects?
Is it something to do with their names?
Is it something to do with where they can be found?
Is it something to do with an owner of some/all of these things?
Are these the only objects you can think of with these properties, or did you just decide six was enough?

Hmmm, it’s something to do with art…

No.

Are they all, in this case, physical elements (as opposed to, say, things in a story, or a movie)
Are they in an enclosed location?
Do those words represent the actual thing, or are they some sort of name?
Are they not the actual thing, but a representation (as in, a drawing of a giraffe, as opposed to a literal giraffe?)

So, same town?
Same park?
Same city?
Same state?
Is it in North America?
Same country?
Is the giraffe alive?

Do they all have keys?
Are they all part of a collection?
Have they all been on Ebay?

Ooooooh… that’s a good one.
