I have a rules set where every player is a “lover” that dies when their other dies. It handles large numbers well because every kill takes two. If there’s interest I may run it around Valentines’ Day.
Interesting. I assume that the lovers are pseudo-Masons who know who each other are? But then, all of the Scum would be paired up, too… If people declared who their lovers are, then it’d mean deciding which pair seems the most Scummy, instead of individuals, which would make for an interesting twist.
Some players know their lover, some don’t. Scum are always paired with town. We did a test play-through on Giraffe. I’ll make a few changes, but it’d still be open.
Any sock who signed up for my Halloween Sock Mafia game should check in, because the game has started. I’d normally send out PMs, but that doesn’t really work with socks. Check your sock!
Just want to say there is an opportunity to play in one of Mahaloth’s Hotel of Heroes Mafia games over at Giraffe. This particular event is always crazy fun and a great way to chase away the winter doldrums.

I’m starting up an Illuminati-themed Mafia game on Sep 21 at Illuminati Mafia - The Giraffe Boards. This will be a multi-faction game with asymmetrical win conditions.
I, for one, look forward to our new Illuminati overlords.

I first learned about Mafia here on the Dope too, and reading through the very epic DND themed game (I think ran by AskThePizzaGuy?) Is what really brought me into the game.
I’m gonna be running the next Giraffe game and we just have a few spots left, if people are interested. And if it goes well, maybe we can do something here, too.
The theme is based on the game, SCP: Secret Laboratory, but it should be lots of fun even if you have no idea what an SCP is
