I don’t read much celebrity news, and I live in Scandinavia, so I’m a bit off regarding the doings of Hollywood stars. I heard about the strange career choice of Joaquin Phoenix, and then I saw the hilarious Letterman interview, which gave me the impression that this bearded rap thing was a hoax.

But I haven’t heard or seen anything since. Are there any news on the life and doings of Joaquin Phoenix?

Apparently it’s being filmed for a documentary by Casey Affleck, which most people are implying supports the “hoax” theory.

I liked Letterman’s parting shot at him: “I’m really sorry you couldn’t be here with us this evening, Joaquin!” (from memory - maybe paraphrased).
