Too silly for the Pit, but I felt the need to preserve this as a world-class effort at spreading ignorance. I like the way the author ties it in to the recent “Obamaphone” kerfuffle, even though it’s completely unrelated; that’s some astute marketing there.
I learned many interesting things from this article:
-
Apple (or rather, “someone”) pays homeless people to stand in line for its products; what happens when they get to the door, do they just like, peel off, or what?
-
It is “not out of the realm of possibilities that this (introduction of of the iPhone 5nSa) is a National Security Agency-sponsored event”; it is likewise not outside the realm of possibilities that space aliens are beaming microwaves into our brains.
-
The embedded iPhone fingerprint scanner “can and most likely will send your details directly to the NSA, CIA and U.S. government.” Dude, I’ve got a TWIC card; the government already has my fingerprints, probably forever.
-
The NYPD apparently is doing something very very bad involving iPhones, but neither I nor the article’s author seems quite sure what it is.
-
US police departments actually have “…a policy of hiring people with low IQs.” Well, at least could explain much.
Perhaps one can guess that this nonsense came off a Facebook share. Feel free to point and laugh, or, as the spirit moves, explain in great detail how I’m one of the sheeple and need to WAKE UP NOW.
