The comic strip, that is. I thought of you the instant I saw the last panel, although I must confess I had to do a search to remember exactly who posted this:
So I just thought I’d give you a heads-up that today, 9/2/03, Lynn benefits us with yet another EoG-EA.
Goggle-eyes aside, it’s abuot the only strip that’s about real people in real situations: the kids go through real problems, and–get this–actually get older, which I thought was against comics rules.
Not all comics. The characters in Gasoline Alley also age. Skeezix’s birthday is celebrated every Valentine’s Day. (Does this mean Uncle Walt will eventually die?)
You know, I hadn’t seen today’s strip but after reading your post of course I had to. I’m flattered someone remembered one of my posts, though.
I know this strip has its fans, I just don’t care for it. It’s simply a matter of taste. It does get points for at times featuring a pet rabbit, though.
