Law & Order: SVU 11/27

This is one of the few programs I watch each week, as feel it is always good drama. This episode was right up to par, and as an extra, the last 15 minutes was an edge-of-the-seat experience.

I’m surprised they did not save this for the last cliff-hanger episode of the season.

I was also surprised they didn’t cut it off with the women trapped in the car or some other crucial moment. I looked up when they cut her out of the car and was pleased there was still 15 minutes left. I expected to see no feet or something like that when they pulled Cathy from the car and was pleased that everything turned out. I thought it was a sweet moment towards the end when Elliot grabbed Liv and hugged her hard, then went on like always.

I missed a part towards the resolution of the actual case. I know that mom and boyfriend were dead and dad was in a cabin. Then I had to deal with an antsy 3 year old. What happened to Tommy?

The dad dropped him off at SVU before hightailing it to the cabin. It’s how they found the wife, Tommy said “Mom went away like the babysitter.”

And as far as I know, the boyfriend was still alive.

Oh my God, I don’t mean to be a downer. I’ve been a fan of SVU for years.

But this was one of the most idiotic episodes I’ve ever seen. When you couple it with how just in the past few episodes before this, you’ve had Elliot blinded and Olivia “stabbed” (slashed, more like it), this show has gotten so over the top that it’s fucking embarrassing. I couldn’t even watch it just as a guilty pleasure (“fanfic-style” episodes). Ugh.

Really? I thought the last few episodes have been much better than the few that opened the season. And I thought last night’s was actually really great.
