Meh, it’s only slightly more funny than the lawyer ads I see, but on the other hand, the real ones aren’t trying to be funny.
Comedian writes a very funny thing. Let’s all get mad at the comedian!
ETA: I don’t think that just because some comedians fabricated a baseball team with players called Who, What, and I Don’t Know makes the routine less funny.
Was there ever any question that the bit was made up? Pretending to have a script written by a machine is much different than claiming to have a script actually written by a machine. Also, I have a higher standard of comedy for an actual professional comedian or comic writer than I do an AI machine.
Did you watch “Spinal Tap” and say, “Hey, this isn’t a real documentary!” (j/k)
Also, he’s done the “commercial written by an AI” bit to death. This is just the same concept as the Olive Garden commercial he said was written by an AI (but was also written by him) from over a year ago. And he’s done several others in the meantime, IIRC.
