Its funny in many of the articles I read the finger is pointed at the right wing when almost any conspirsy that I have read out there is knocking the Military idustrial complex , George Bush , and Dick Cheney. What is the rif with right wing assuming one exists?
You left out John Ashcroft. He’s the one I knock most often.
Primarily it’s due to his mentality that forgoes “innocent until proven guilty” and jumps straight to “terrorist until proven republican”.

It is related to all of Cecil’s columns. “Fighting ignorance since 1973”. Unfortunately, at the present, ignorance seems to be winning.

Since Cecil hasn’t (so far as I am aware) knocked Cheney, I’m taking the term “articles” to mean Message Board threads rather than Cecil’s columns, and I’m moving this to a more appropriate forum.
If I’m wrong, and if you meant Cecil’s columns, please email me and I’ll happily move it back. However, it should be pointed out that Cecil is pretty much an equal-opportunity finger-pointer, and he’s printed columns knocking John Kennedy and Martin Luther King, as well.
Knocking the military-industrial complex is a long-standing tradition, which includes such Republican heroes as Dwight Eisenhower, so I don’t think that’s particularly a “left-wing” attitude. I personally think that oposition to the military-industrial complex is incumbent upon anyone with brains (who’s not getting substantial paychecks from said m-i complex, of course – if you’re on their payroll at a high amount, then enlightened self-interest will prevail.)
