Lead in Water Leave a Lead Residue?

I was wondering, based on DC’s lead water woes: If one spills water with some lead content, and the spill dries…is a lead residue (i.e.: lead dust?) left behind? I WAG this must be the case, correct? - Jinx

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has developed standards for drinking water quality to protect children and adults. For drinking water in schools, EPA recommends a limit of 20 parts per billion (ppb). This is equal to 0.02 parts per million (ppm) or 0.02 milligrams lead per liter of water (mg/L).

If the lead contamination is so bad it leaves a residue…you’d probably be dead.
