What medical centers, hospitals, clinics, or research centers in the USA are conventionally considered the leaders in respiratory health issues?
I’d put the National Jewish Medical and Research Center (in Denver) #1 in Respiratory Medicine.
I came in to post what KarlGauss did. National Jewish is an excellent respiratory hospital.
Thirded. I’m neither an MD nor a paramedic, but a reasonably well-educated asthmatic and National Jewish is viewed as a sort of Mecca among us wheezers.
Isnt’ that where the TB guy wound up going, last summer?
Well! I have already been talking to National Jewish, on the recommendation of a doctor (a gastroenterologist, oddly enough), but it occurred to me that hearing one recommendation doesn’t mean they’re on the top of the list.
But asking around and getting 4 more votes for them and 0 for any other certainly contributes to the incentive to work with them!
Thanks!
To add a (sort of) factual element, this study: Conflicting Measures of Hospital Quality seems to agree.
