Trumps Pee-Male scandal.
If this has any legs, it will make him a laughing stock. His ego cannot stand to be laughed it, it will consume him, he’ll spend all day every day tweeting his innocence and ridiculing his accusers. Sure, Republicans would allow a ham sandwich to sit in the Oval Office if it could sign all the tax cuts for the wealthy they will put in front of it. But they’ve also got their eye on 2018 and 2020, and they might decide it’s time to cut their losses and impeach him over this. The base will come back, as they always do. But would the base tolerate evidence of such a strange sexual preference? They’ve already given him a pass on his record of sexual assault, maybe this will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Here’s a 12/12/16 article from Mother Jones listing who Trump owes money to. No Russians or Russian banks on the list. (They do speculate that a Russian bank could theoretically buy Trump debt from the current creditors.)
I’ve not known about this for months, and apparently MJ hasn’t either. Who exactly has known about these supposed Russian debts for months?
Why not just blackmail Hillary.
With what? An e-mail scandal? That wouldn’t matter after she was elected.

And its not like they would get comprising info on her if she was in Moscow etc… She wold be very aware of the potential for bugging.
Again, I don’t know if the brief is true. But if even a fraction of it is, then it’s very bad news for trump. My guess tis that the more salacious elements aren’t true, but that some of the more treasonous elements (BY Trump or his handlers) are. But time will tell.
Either way, the story seems to have legs. Its not going away.

The “dossier” claims Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen was in Prague to confer with the Russians. Now Tapper says it was a different Michael Cohen. Of course, he kinda has to since Michael Cohen was in California at the time and has never been to Prague in his life.
Wonder if the usual suspects will claim that even though it was a different Michael Cohen, he was still working for Trump.

The great outcome of this is continuing utter discrediting of the Trump-derangement-syndrome affected media sources.

If I were playing the black pieces, so to speak, I’d just shrug and say to myself, “the Dems haven’t beaten us in a midterm since 2006 and have no strength anymore in most states, so I don’t have to worry about 2018. And even if we lost the White House in 2020, chances are excellent that we’d still control the House. Why mess with things before they show they can beat us?”
ETA: For example, take a look at the 2016 Senate races. The Dems had lots of good opportunities in the wake of the Tea Party’s good year in 2010. But even when Hillary was 6 points ahead, Senate control looked like it was poised on a knife-edge. If I’m a GOP elder, I’m going to keep on doing what seems to be working until the Dems can make it not work anymore.
These impeachment fantasies are really signs of desperation. How can someone who can rub two neurons together not understand what an enormous stupid self-inflicted injury it would be on a political party to have the only successfully impeached President in modern history?
But will they? The party in the White House nearly always loses House seats in the midterm, and the Republican majority isn’t that great as it is. So if Dems pick up a near majority in 2018, I’d say that in 2020 they have a great chance for a sweep, assuming they field a better candidate and the Republicans field the same one. Not to mention, that 2020 Senate map is ripe for Democrats to reclaim seats.
Some people are so scared of a Trump presidency, they’ll believe anything, no matter how preposterous, and no matter how much substance the allegations lack.
What happened to being wary of “fake news”, anyway?
