I just hate asking you people for these answers, but what did Ward Cleaver do for a living, as his TV character?
I don’t recall, even though I watch this show at work a lot. I don’t even know if they ever specified what exactly he did. He just “Went to the office”.

According to The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows, he was an accountant.
“The locale was the suburban town of Mayfield where Ward worked for Mr. Rutherford (Lumpy’s father) as an accountant.”
