Leaving Meridian, MS, or Lessons in Delta rebooking after screwups

Eh, at least they’re both in the same building. Not to make light of D6 - F11 though, MSP is gigantic.

I once had a hideous inter-line connection at MSP that had me coming into the “Humphrey” concourse and departing from G10. Changing from H-something to G10 - how bad can that be? Really bad. The Humphreys and Lindberg terminals are so far apart, that they should be considered two distinct airports sharing a set of runways. They’re so far apart that they have to post driving directions

They probably heard us yelling as soon as we cleared security and got into the G concourse. Ran our asses off, but we made it. Got onto the plane to be greeted by about 224 eyes, all staring at the reason the flight was delayed.

When I got home, I fired that travel agent.

How do you pronounce Reneau?

Ruh-NO.

I was looking at your OP and - being familiar with the MSP airport - thinking “um, probably not very” with your “so hopefully my gates won’t be too far apart” statement. I’m glad you made it. We had a tight connection through Dallas this weekend, and while we ended up making it to the gate and sitting on our butts for ten minutes before boarding, it was still stressful. And on the outbound flight didn’t end up taking a single plane we’d booked and ended up on a completely different set of flights that got us there four hours later than planned. Flying sucks.
