Leaving mobile phone by computer monitor

If you leave a mobile phone near a computer monitor when you are changing cells, getting an SMS or on a call the screen jumps around. Does this do any permanent damage to the monitor (or your brain  )?

Thanks for your help.

The phone actively transmitting at that time. It does not harm your monitor. It has not been proven to be dangerous to you, and, if there are any effects, it would be less then when you are actually on a phone call (transmitting) and the phone is next to your head.

Aw Crap.

I’d better get out the Tin Foil hat again.
