If that’s all you can see in a discussion about peace and how to obtain it, and what attitudes and types of ignorance are obstacles to it, that’s a real pity.
I don’t think I was displaying any kind of ignorant attitude. I think my understanding of the Israeli parliamentary system (relative to being an outsider, that is) and military history helps to deflect the potential ignorance you speak of.
That being said, I won’t compare Begin to Netanyahu because comparing any two politicians with an incredible career span is apples to oranges.
As far as a leader in the peace process, we’ll see. I’m rather sad Kadima couldn’t get its shit in order. They would have a different PM.
