Last night my boyfriend’s dog died. He was very neglectful towards it since I have been there and I ended up taking care of the dog despite my allergy to her.
I just had the City and County dead animal pickup pick her up. I would have preferred burying her in my parents’ backyard, but my father did not offer…so I didn’t ask. I felt so sad seeing her carted off like a piece of trash.
When I was still living at my parents’ house I used to own cats, and when they passed on my father would bury them in the backyard.
Where is this going? I just had a morbid thought this morning. If a human being passed away but wanted to be buried in his backyard, is that legal? Do people have to be buried in a cemetery, or if brought home, in an urn? Are there health regulations that say someone can’t be buried in the shade under their favorite tree in the backyard?
Sorry for rambling, I’m not in the best of moods.
