Legal to Expose Child Sex Predator to Neighborhood?

They are about different landlords who I have rented rooms from, I have little choice being in poor health and on permanent disability my income after insurance and out-a-pocket med cost does not allow me to rent my own place. I have no family to stay with, these people who rent rooms do it without lease and they screw with you as much as possible.
Shortly after I moved in to this guys place I made dinner as a decent gesture, the next night he asks me if “we” have leftovers.
Several weeks later I put my laundry in the washer, walk away, I hear the washer off-balance, look inside, it’s stuffed to the top and compacted with his clothes on top of mine.
This is just some of it.

That’s because Josh-You-Know-Who didn’t serve any jail time. He was never punished by the state.

Rightly or wrongly, that’s how our society in general determines whether you are deserving of a second chance. Every criminal is repentant after the fact. Asking for forgiveness and promising to do better are things that are very easy to do. But serving your time (or paying your fine or whatever) is as close to “even stevens” as we can get.

It is possible to have compassion in one case and still condemn the actions of someone else in a totally different situation.

He didn’t serve any time, he’s gay and somehow bargained out of that. He is still on probation. He was fired or let go from his part-time church organist gig after the second arrest. He was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a minor, multiple counts and failure to register as a sex offender . . also a felony, that arrest was last year.

I am not familiar with the other case.

The story seems to be growing here, and I don’t know what being gay has to do with bargaining out of anything.

I am assuming his lawyer could plea that prison time would be not good for his “health” . . He comes from a wealthy family, graduated college as a music major.

No-what’s his being gay got to do with it?

Maybe he was able to afford a very good lawyer to bargain his way out of hard time, . . I am assuming prison rape is still a problem. I don’t think I need to spell it out. This is not a gay bashing issue if that’s what you are implying.

Then why mention it?

See my original post. The “done time” question was raised, he did not “do time” I gave more details, it’s not about outing him as being a gay child sex offender, its about him being a child sex offender.

You’re not improving how you’re coming across in this thread. Just sayin’.

I’m trying to figure out what you were implying when you said

Convicted and on probation, correct? Do you have reason to believe he is currently a child sex offender?

I’m wondering how he bargained out of being gay.

I have stated my intention is to further humiliate him. I do not feel guilty about that. I was looking for objective opinion. Period.

I stand corrected. He is gay and bargained his way out of doing prison time.

Oh there’s plenty of objective opinions in this thread, just not the ones you want.

So, all gays are rich and can afford good lawyers?

So, he’s at risk of being raped? Or being a rapist?

In fact you do. I have no idea what you’re implying.

I meant he bargained out of doing prison time. Speculation, yes. What would you think? Convicted as a sexual predator of a minor ?

And how do you know what exactly went down during his hearing, and what deals were and weren’t made and for what reasons?

No, I no for a fact his family is wealthy. Yes, he is at risk for being raped.
