Lego may release my Tachikoma model as a set

As a hobby, I build detailed Lego models. Most of them are functional and motorized. My latest model, a walking and rolling robot, has become a huge success.

Now Lego has a program called Cuusoo. Anyone can submit a model, and if it gets 10.000 votes they will consider making it as a set. Three of these have already been put into production, a submarine, a satellite, and a minecraft set. So, I put my model on their site, and within the first 48 hours it already received 1000 supporters. That’s one vote every 3 minutes.

As I write this, the project has 1324 supporters. Which is a lot, but not enough. Please take a look at the video and support it if you think it’s a worthy cause.

I also hate making an account to vote but in this case I did because that is just too freakin’ cool to not support!! I also shared it on my facebook page.

MostlyClueless, threads of the “vote for my whatever” variety are considered spam here. We occasionally allow them for charity, but even then only with prior mod approval, which you did not get.
