In a lot of old fiction, when people with leprosy are being described, the afflicted have often been referred to as being feline in appearance.
Not that I think I’ve ever seen photos of leprosy before.

Well, here is a pic of a young girl with leprosy. Can’t say she looks terribly feline in appearance.
I’ve never heard of this before, and from my personal experiecnes with lepers I can’t say any of them look like felines.
FTR, I do charity work in Nepal and see many, many lepers there.
Try Google for ‘Leonine’ and ‘Leprosy’, for instance:
