A photo a buddy of mine took while caving.
Whoa. Awesome.
Wow!!
That’s fantastic!
Neat both for the subject(s) and the quality, wow!
“…and if you come one inch closer to my baby-eggs, I will rip your mammalian head off…”
Did he try and sell your buddy auto insurance?
Awwwww, so cute! It’s really cool the way you can see the babies.
Great picture.
Aww, babies! That’s actually what I said when I opened it. I want to take the gecko and the babies and take them home and hug them and squeeze them and call them George.
So, how did they taste?
I love how the light slants down and points directly to her head, like DUN DUN…
Heh. These little guys are actually slimy salamanders (Plethodon glutinosus), and I thank the heavens that I chose to enter a profession in which I get to see stuff like this all the time.
Hey, don’t laugh. 30 seconds after this photo was taken, all those eggs hatched and tried to attach themselves to his face.
Oh, those are EGGS.
I thought the lizard was a marbles champion.
It looks like a collection of human eyeballs. I bet that cute salamander face is hiding the deranged mind of a serial killer. With an eyeball fetish.
That little critter laid those big eggs???
The human equivalent would seem to be giving birth to something the size of an average 4 year old.
Epidural had DAMN well better work, for that!!
That’s awesome.
Love it, thanks for sharing!
I add my “Neat!” and “Thanks for sharing.” to the piles.
Huh. My initial thought was “What’s salamander for ‘Fuck you. Go away.’?”
Does he have anymore pictures of them after they hatched? I’d love to see them.
