TELL ME I am not the only person who saw this. At the fade out for the Habs 4-3 loss, they showed a skycam view of the rink. People were throwing trash and stuff on the ice. And one of the panes of glass in the corner shattered. It fell onto the ice, meaning that it had to have been broken from the seating side. It happened so quickly, no one mentioned it since it was mere seconds before they went back to the ESPN studio. I found no mention of it on SportsCenter or the wire stories so far. Anyone else see this?
I didn’t see this either but then again I was sitting there with my head in my hands wondering “what the hell happened?”.
These types of actions by the fans don’t surprise me as it must have been pretty hard to watch your team screw away the lead as they did.
