Let's all point and laugh at this music video

I think I’m in love with that Crispy Chick. Too bad she’s gone :frowning:

Why do most of these “dance” songs all have the same beat to them?

She doesn’t really seem all that attractive to me (especially in the In & Out video), but I don’t like red hair. Obviously, your mileage varies, though.

It doesn’t really seem that way to me. Now, there were two producers, Johnny Jam & Delgado, who remixed songs from Me & My, Aqua, and Hit ‘n’ Hide, and there were legions of groups that tried to copy Aqua’s success (“I’m a Barbie Girl…”), so maybe that’s what you’re hearing. By the way, there is an excellent reference site to this kind of music, although it has the “gayest” web design I’ve ever seen in my life. The cursor on the forum SPARKLES. My favorite one is Toy-Box, especially in this hilarious interview. How many times can they say “babe”?

Sure does. Let’s see…

Young? Check.
In shape? Check.
Comfortable with her own sexuality? Apparently check.
Has a sense of humor? Again, apparently check.
Can sing well? Check.
Red hair…not exactly a natural shade? Check.
Still alive? Uh…shit. Nevermind. But people still wank to Marilyn Monroe, right?

Yeah, its a little goofball, but wasn’t Kate Bush’s work from when they first started actually making music videos? I cut them a little slack for just trying to figure out what they could do.

I love this song! It cracked me up. Thanks!

I have another one I thought of after posting it in the upbeat songs thread! Cartoon Heroes by Aqua, not because the video is bad, necessarily, but because it’s so funny. This is the “point and laugh” thread, after all.

I have to say that I haven’t even made it halfway down the first page of this thread and I’m literally CRYING with laughter. My GOD, I never knew the wonder! How do you people FIND these things?!?!?

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.

My friend’s response to this, when I forwarded him this thread, was “Are…are they playing with JELLO!?!”

Like that was the thing that caused the most problems with his comprehension of this video.

(sorry for the sequential posts, I really am overcome with hilarity).

And another really bad one (although a good song), Herz an Herz by Blümchen. Whoever they have playing “Patsy” (WTH?!) seriously looks like Ayn Rand. It’s the most ridiculously sappy thing ever, too.

ETA: And for most overly melodramatic, All the Things She Said by t.A.T.u. They’re not even really lesbians! They lied about it for three years.
