I only recently started using Facebook and I still don’t update it often but there you go.
I trim my friends list from time to time so don’t be alarmed if in the future you’ve been defriended. If you’d like to go through the hassle just let me know you’d like to remain friends and I’ll re-add you. 
And for some of you I wasn’t able to include a personal message for whatever reason.

As others have mentioned, send a message saying who you are or I probably won’t approve the request. 
Also, mentioning your SDMB user name in the request would be helpful.
I forgot to do this. You should all be able to associate my username with my face by now!

A tip: I have a list called simply “Dopers” When you send a friend invite, you can add someone to a list as you send the invite.
