This is not a thread with substantial content, it’s just a suggestion which I came up with while trying to search the SDMB for threads on the board game go.
The SDMB search engine won’t allow searches for three-letter (or shorter) words, so searching for “go” doesn’t work (and even if it did work, this search would certainly come up with plenty of results unrelated to the game). I thought about other words which I’d expect to appear in a thread on go, but to no avail - “kyu” and “dan” aren’t long enough either, and “atari” yields lots of results related to the computer game company (which, incidentally, borrowed its name from go). Consequently, I couldn’t find helpful threads, but I can’t believe a board such as The Game Room in this thriving community has been ignoring go all the time.
So the only thing I can think of is to use the Korean name, baduk, instead, at least once per thread. It’s long enough to be searchable and doesn’t have other meanings which reduce search quality for dopers with ambitions to earn their shodan (there are matches for that term, but obviously because there’s a member of that name around here).
That’s just an idea I had
