The cheapest I can buy things is:

2 litres milk from a supermarket, 78p ($1.55)
Coke - no idea, I never buy any soft drinks
Dozen free range eggs from the local butchers, £1.40 ($2.79)
Sliced loaf of bread, shop on my road, from a local bakery, 80p ($1.59). Named brands similar price. The supermarket does sell revolting bread-shaped items for about 10p.
Petrol £1.03/litre ($7.74/US gallon)

Seattle:
Milk NF is between $2.50 and $3.50/gallon
Coke $1.49/2 liter
a dozen eggs $1.80
Oatnut bread $3.95/loaf

Yesterday we filled both cars. Luckily the loan was approved. The truck takes regular: $3.55/gallon 23 gallon tank=$81.65

The 'Vette takes premium:  $3.82/gallon 23 gallon tank= $87.86

I’m parking the 'Vette.

Dallas, TX

1/2 gallon of milk. Probably about $1.50. I usually buy the full gallon which is $1.99

2 litre bottle of pop. $1.00

12 eggs. Probably one dollar unless there isn’t a sale.

Sliced loaf of bread. I buy expensive bread. However, I could easily buy a loaf for .99 cents.

Gallon of gas. I buy premium. My car requires it. That was $3.20 last time. So, regular unleaded would have been about $3.00 per gallon.

$3.05 for gas two days ago; $3.88 for a gallon of milk. Sure glad my old rattletrap doesn’t burn milk!
