This is fairly mundane compared to most of the other threads in this forum at the moment, but I’m curious what everyone else is paying for the two big staples.
Milk was $3.90 for a gallon of 2% a couple of days ago. Gas (87 octane) was $4.05 at most stations and $3.99 at a few. This is in west central Louisiana.
I don’t buy gas, but milk is $1.19 for a…a…holds up hands to indicate size of carton this much milk. I have no idea how much it is except that it is more than a pint and less than a half gallon. I live in NYC
Gas seems to be running about $4.50. (I honestly don’t pay much attention)
Milk is running 3.50 to 4 per gallon depending on brand. Except for Alta Dena which is listed as 4.19 for a HALF gallon. That’s insane.
Just ran out of milk this weekend, so I’ll have to remember to look when I go tonight. I just bought gas at Costco this afternoon, and it was $3.99/gal.
Skim milk anywhere from $3.48 to around $4, depending upon brand and store. Gas in St. Mary’s county, MD, $3.95 is the lowest I’ve seen. Most stations are over $4.
The cheapest 2% milk in this town is $3.57 for a gallon. You have to shop in Madison not to get robbed on groceries. Groceries in Madison are about 2/3 the local price or cheaper.
Cheap unleaded $4.099
Due to the crop problems in this state I expect dairy to skyrocket before winter.
