This is so stupid that it’s hilarious - those parents that clearly murdered their own daughter have now released a magical picture that they hired someone to draw of a man carrying their baby away. The picture, of course, isn’t based on any actual witness or anything of the sort - at most, it’s based on a man that someone eating dinner with the McCains had “uhhh, seen around and stuff.”
When will we just acknowledge that these rich white doctors killed their own child and send them to the gas chamber?
I avoid the news these days, since mostly it’s a poorly-constructed peice of tripe with little original or useful reporting. Dare I ask, then what exactly happened? Is this another “despite there being no evidence that anyone else was involved and ample evidence we butchered our own child for kicks, we’re able to say with a straight face some random stranger walked off with our child” routine.
I agree that it seems like a bizarrely pointless stunt. Consulting a psychic, I could understand, but drawing a picture of a Mysterious Stranger? Bwah?
Why doesn’t the article that you linked to have this picture? And why isn’t the picture part of www.findmadeleine.com? Seems like something the McCain’s released would be a part of their website.
The drawing itself is here. What’s bizarre about it is there’s no face, not even the amount of face that a Ken doll would have. It’s just a generic male with Caucasian hands and longish black hair, wearing brown slacks and a black shirt, carrying a limp child’s body. What’s Joe Friday gonna do, put out an APB for a white guy wearing brown pants and a black shirt? Oh, and, he was moving “with a sense of urgency”. Well, gee whiz, that narrows it down considerable…
What it looks like, more than anything, is one of those “Stranger Danger!” illustrations found in pamphlets for grade school children.
Am I missing the part about the witness seeing this guy carrying a child away? If not then why does the picture show a guy carrying a child away, given the second line of my quote?
I actually don’t think they have any evidence against the parents, other than circumstantial. And by circumstantial, I mean that they don’t have any evidence of any kind, so the parents look suspicious by default.
Medical doctor parents take three kids on vacation to a resort, then leave the kids alone in the hotel room while they go out to dinner within eyesight of the hotel room. Oldest girl magically disappears from the room while they’re eating dinner. Parents admit to giving kids drugs to make them to go sleep “sometimes.” Parents spend over an hour cleaning up the hotel room before calling the cops. Mom’s first reply to noticing the daughter missing is to scream out, “they’ve taken her!” rather than something more natural such as, “where is she?” or “Maddie’s missing.” etc. etc. etc. they’re guilty as fuck.
Secondly, it’s unlikely there’s a Puerto Rican involved, as they were in Portugal.
Thirdly, there’s nothing against the parents at all - rumours of DNA, but nothing brought as evidence. There is a chattering campaign against them, partly because they’ve made their loss into a media circus, and the media always bites the hand that feeds it.
Fourthly, the “man carrying child” was indeed witnessed, and has been mentioned since the child’s disappearence. Why they’ve suddenly chosen now to do a really shit artist’s impression, I have no idea.
