Indeed he was a hero and truly a superman, but I suspect having the only working factories in Europe to supply materials to a war torn World helped a slight bit to get that GDP boost.

Most of the SCN site (Swedish gov statistics bureau) is translated to english that includes the statistics they publish. So there really is a much better source than wikipedia he could use - IN English. And anyone can use them.
To be fair, unless I wanted real original source detailed material I’d look to Wikipedia for first pass information on any number of topics concerning the Australian economy.
