This post reminds me of those family gatherings where someone starts to talk about some best forgotten unhappy memory from the distant past and everyone else thinks, “For God’s sake shut the fuck up about that.”

You ever know a child who has emotionally distant or neglectful parents? They act out because negative attention is better than no attention.
