In another thread (a “Guess what my IQ is?!” Mensa thread) a regular poster made the comment that those threads were a (IIRC) “a greasy snake pit of lies.”

I’ve been pushing it since it came out. (example) I usually wander between 46 and 50, with most of the time spent at 47-49. I was most addicted the first week. It tapers off.
I get such a thrill when I guess at what a new word means by what I think its etymology is, and get it right. New words are cool.

In truth, I hover around 39-42, but have peaked at 45 with some luck from the generator and good guessing.
I’m in the 48 range, with a few excursions into 49. I started out thinking there was a finite set of questions, but when I began to get repeats, I figured out – smart fellow that I am – that I’d never get to the end of it, and so stopped.
I’m all for turning my useless talents in life into grains of rice. Wish I could do it with every useless talent of mine, and also wish that some of those grains of rice would end up in my own pocket.
