Creature Feature - Aim for the Head
My god, how could I forget that one?
If it involves zombies, I’d say it’s fair game.
Saliva Slingers “Zombie Pool Party”
you can download it from their website.
Alien Sex Fiend - Now I’m Feeling Zombiefied
The Bronx - Rape Zombie
Although the latter doesn’t fit lyrically.
You could always give these guys a spin.
There’s a Zombie on Your Lawn, which funnily enough was followed when I watched it by an ad for Bing voiced by Ty Burrell, who was in Dawn of the Dead (remake), which featured Richard Cheese’s rendition of Down with the Sickness, which isn’t really about zombies, but which I thought of when I read the thread title.
Foals- Electric Bloom
And, I just got Ooky Spooky, the album the studio version of this was on (I previously had a live album with it), and it also has Reggae Mortis. (It’s also a very good album, though not as good as Almost Human, despite the latter’s complete lack of zombies.)
I was tempted to say that.
I think if I was the one making the mix, I’d want to put in at least the eight or ten seconds of instrumental intro (which I’m guessing is the most widely-recognized few seconds of Zombies music). Putting the whole track in is probably stretching the joke too far.
All You Zombies -The Hooters
If I were going to do an instrumental intro, I might go with music from Zombies At My Neighbors.
I wouldn’t pick up on that reference myself, but I’m not a video game guy.
You could always take a couple (ahem) bites of Return of the Living Dead dialogue.
Damnit.
I had a zombie hand smashing through the dirt and wearing a shiny diamond ring moment today. I was listenin to 89X and Smashing Pumpkins-1979 came on the radio. I was reminded where I had heard that line about freaks and ghouls…
“Justine never knew the rules, hung down with the freaks and the ghouls.”
Seems like I wasn’t the only person to notice. That is one spiffy video for Wait and See… hehe.
