does this mean i can do the next quote?
um… hows this:
“Tea without milk is so uncivilized.”
Uh, The Goonies?
“Bunch of savages in this town.”
Donald Pleasance in “The Great Escape.”
Identify this one:
“You look like you could use a hand.”
Johnny Dangerously
Jim! From American Pie.
And another one from me:
“The world doesn’t just disappear when you close your eyes, does it?”
** Dude, Where’s My Cat? **
"any dope can quit smoking, it takes a real man to deal with lung cancer"
Not the answer I was looking for. It’s from a classic American movie from the 1950s.
LMAO:D
So I Married an Ax Murderer.
“You shouldn’t drink…and bake.”
Clerks. Love that movie.
And my contribution:
“You taught me that people will do anything for a potato.”
“My friend and I will have a Hong Kong Snickersnee.”
“The diamonds–or in one hour you die.”
“Non!”
“And where did you come up with that ridiculous accent? [imitating Cary Grant] ‘Nobody talks like that!’”
“Not guilty, of course! You’re a great naval hero!”
“He’s so nice and kind and jolly; he’s not like anyone else!”
“Oh, just another red-letter day for the Baileys!”
Ding! Ding! Ding!
That’s the great Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Raw Deal.”
Okay, here’s one:
“How can you trust a man who wears both a belt AND suspenders?”
(It took me a few seconds to realize that these were lines from 7 different movies!)
This was the great line from Silent Movie by Mel Brooks. It was the only line spoken in the entire movie by Marcel Maurceau, the great French mime.
I can’t say I recognize the quote, but the family name is sure familiar. Was this a quote from It’s a Wonderful Life?
Here’s one from a relatively obscure movie just a few years back (that I liked nonetheless):
"Trust the Lloyd"
(spoken by someone who mistakes a person named “Lloyd” as God). They go on to say they’ve been mispronouncing that phrase all these years!
That sounds like “Ace in the Hole”, also known as “The Big Carnival”.
Oh man, NO ONE will get this one…
Or maybe they will…
“Yeah, well, uh, just keep your Power Gloves off her, pal.”
If you cheat, then… DON’T CHEAT!
Too easy. The Wizard. Corey Haim’s line.
“That’s classical music, ain’t it? I can tell. No lyrics.”
