Let's play the 'the ABC band name" game

Pilot

Quo Vadis

Rasputina

(wouldn’t Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds be under N?)

Secret Oyster

Toploader

(saw them live before they became somewhat famous)

Usher
Verve, the
Wombles, the

slap my head I wrote the verve but meant

Veruca Salt

That was used in #261, so:

Vandenberg

then there is always the crazy **Weird Al Yankovic **and his parodies…

I officially ballsed up.

Sorry, but Usher is not a band, either. He’s a person, as is Weird Al (which we had moved past anyway.)
For U - U.F.O.
Giving us;
Usher (solo, not counted)
U.F.O.
Verve, the (already used)
Veruca Salt (already used)
Vandenberg
Wombles
Weird Al Yankovich (solo, and would be under Y)
bringing us to X (the letter, the band has been played)

We’re on X?
X-Cutioners. Blatantly ripped off of a lame, C-list X-Men heel.

Yellow Magic Orchestra

Yellow Magic Orchestra was played at the end of the last round by Sgt.Schwartz.
Unless I’m missing something? (This is getting hard.)

Yello

Zoobombs

Agents Of Good Roots

I used the “search this thread” option and didn’t find it.

Anyhoo…
B.T. Express

No, the OP specified that any band designation starting with the name of one of the members would be filed under that member’s surname – for example, the Jimi Hendrix Experience would be eligible when the letter in play was H.

For C: Cowboy Junkies

Deus Ex Machina
