Don’t mean to derail the discussion here, but I feel like I need to say this.
First, I concur with others that the first few offerings in the thread were nothing but typically “media skinny”. Please don’t assume that most guys think that way.
I ADORE plus-sized, voluptuous women.* Always have. And I know for a fact I’m not alone. A LOT of guy friends that I’ve talked to over the years have confessed that they find heavier women just as attractive–more so, in some cases–than the skinny model “ideal”. So why aren’t they more vocal about it? Sometimes, just as women are made to feel ashamed of their bodies, men are sometimes led to feel ashamed if they’re not dating a super-skinny piece of “arm candy”. Their friends insult them, make pig noises, and call them “chubby chasers” or something equally offensive. It’s tragic and reprehensible, all the way around (though I’d never argue that this practice is equally damaging to the man’s self-esteem).
A beautiful woman is a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman. You’d probably be really surprised at how many men genuinely don’t mentally discriminate when it comes to size, in assessing a woman’s physical appeal. Weight/body fat is indeed a factor in a woman’s attractiveness, but its role is vastly, VASTLY overblown by the media and TV/movies.
*I don’t mean, “Kim Kardashian” heavy/voluptuous. I mean, like Jennifer Hudson, or Queen Latifah, or even larger. I’m NOT one of those freaks who particularly digs women who are morbidly obese, for the kink factor (I think that’s actually a kind of paraphilia), but pretty much any woman who’s a size say, 24 or below, can be and often is HOT. Almost every crush I’ve ever had has been on a woman who outweighs me by probably 30 - 50 lbs. (I’m 5’10", 165.) And my wife, who outweighs me (but I won’t say by how much) is just BEAUTIFUL. 
You won’t say by how much? Is it because there’s something wrong with being big? Isn’t that sort of perpetuating what you claim to be fighting? :smack:

I ‘follow’ modeling, including plus-sized models, so I can think of many inhumanly gorgeous women who also wear a size 12 US or larger (but of course, since models are all tall, most plus models are far from what most of us think of as fat and may not even have what most people would define as a ‘few pounds extra’).

Sorry I posted the OP and ran, I had some stuff to do last night. Thanks for all the responses–I, too, laughed when I saw the first two responses, and it just reinforces that thin=pretty thing. A few extra pounds does not actually mean tits that weigh 12 lbs each on a size 4 body. Not that big tits aren’t nice, but let’s not be so literal.
What prompted this was a discussion with a friend, who is raising two teenage daughters (neither of which are fat, but the mom could loose 20 lbs or so). She said she tries to be very conscious of any remark she makes regarding dieting or body size, that kind of thing, so they don’t get screwed up body images, if that is even possible for a teenage girl. I related the story of my weight-obsessed, constantly-dieting (but skinny!) aunt whose beautiful, very intelligent daughter had to be hospitalized for bulimia a while back.
I just wanted to see some pics of women who are a bit (or a lot) fat and who pull it off, and seem comfortable in their bodies as a counter point to all the tiny women who are held up as perfect in the media.
