I’m waiting for the 2000", same as Frank.
Apparently, we broke the HuffPo website - I’m only getting the headline, no article.
It’s a viral marketing commercial. 100% fake. Well done but fake.
Then you’ll be delighted to know that my LG television has a CE sticker on the back. No wonder the poor thing is confused. ![]()
I looked up that TV set on the Future Shop website. Only $19,999.99! I’ll get two on my way to Value Village!
For this reason alone it’s obviously fake. No way a 2-D screen would pass as an exterior window. It would stick out like a sore thumb.
Look out any window and move your head side to side 4 to 5 inches.
I agree - it’s just easier to fake something like this than it is to do it for real.
The similar viral video where they installed screens in the floor of an elevator has been conclusively shown to be fake (reflections of the green screen in chrome railings, and the inconsistencies between what the screens showed from different angles).
These kinds of commercials are generally done by actors. They’re warned that “something” is going to happen, but they aren’t told what. Thus, no liability for causing someone to have a heart attack, but you get believable reactions.
