Life imitates an SNL skit; or, the utter idiocy of Celebrity Jeopardy! contestants

I remember it too. One of them was Joe Walsh (like George Clinton, he was just a little too fried to keep up). I can’t remember the other.

Long before. She still had a career.

What’s ironic is that they’ll hardly ever miss a question about Oppenheimer or Thomas Aquinas on the College Tournament but “gimme” questions about PotC: World’s End or My Chemical Romance will often go through the cracks. Very logical of course: to the kids who’d be selected for College Tournament the harder liberal arts knowledge is a fresh memory while they don’t have time to watch movies or listen to CDs.

Sports questions are always particularly funny, they could not be more out of their element.

I’d love to see CJ with Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and John Oliver as contestants–no dumbed down questions there!
And Nancy Grace said “flamingo”–what a tool.
