That was hilarious. I don’t remember who he was playing against, but as I recall they were a couple of old school Rock veterans who kept looking at each other in exasperation as McGrath proceeded to kick their asses.

I remember it too. One of them was Joe Walsh (like George Clinton, he was just a little too fried to keep up). I can’t remember the other.

If you want to see real Jeopardy action, watch the College Tournament. Those kids are playing for scholarship money, and they do not mess around. They go right for the throat - and for the highest values clues. No watered-down questions here!

What’s ironic is that they’ll hardly ever miss a question about Oppenheimer or Thomas Aquinas on the College Tournament but “gimme” questions about PotC: World’s End or My Chemical Romance will often go through the cracks. Very logical of course: to the kids who’d be selected for College Tournament the harder liberal arts knowledge is a fresh memory while they don’t have time to watch movies or listen to CDs.
