Lifting travel ban to Cuba.

I will not discuss this with you.My original response was to this quote:

Once again: do what you want. Foster or don’t foster. But don’t blame others for not doing things which you don’t do either.

You turn around the situation. I did not “attack” the US of anything before somebody “accused” Europe to not fullfill its moral duties.

Moral duties, my ass.

Then, I responded. So calm down. I do not need to “rise above my prejudice” since I responded to a situation at hand.

Yep. Ever since I posted that I have been kinda hoping the thread would die and that no one would read it. Me => :smack:
I think I shall retract the entire post and go give myself 20 lashes with the cat for posting silly posts in GD. ‘Doh!’ me. Sorry about that.

Carry on. Nothing to see here.

I am against it…they should cripple the damn island…its not a failed policy…its only being changed because the Soviet Union is no more…and thus the island is not a pawn in a world chess match

Please explain what you mean by ‘cripple the damn island’?

Very unusual. The vast majority of liberals would now start nattering on about how those countries would qualify as “democracies” because of yackity smackity and blah blah blah.

In response to Juanita Tech

Damn as in I was mad at the island and said damn…not as in the island is damned to hell…

Cripple as in the Cuban economy can not sustain itself without help….economic sanctions cripple it…people suffer sure, but more will suffer if we help out their crippled economy…We as a nation should never help out countries whose government are deep in violations of basic human rights…If you violate human rights, you receive zero aid…and if you continually act our government like the idiotic French etc, you get zero aid…but we never do that…and so people bite the hand that feeds them…

I hope that better explains my comment
